UNR NetID
Your UNR NetID is used for many computing services across the campus. Your NetID is required for access to the computer labs. You can find out more information about UNR NetIDs here.
Software
Students have access to a wide variety of software with educational discounts through the Computer Den in the ASUN Bookstore. Titles and pricing includes:
- Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise - $95.00
- Microsoft Office 2008 for the Mac - $83.00
- Windows Vista Home Premium - $89.95
- Adobe CS3 Design Standard - $199
Microsoft is running a promotion for Office Ultimate 2007 for $59.95.
Students can download and install Symantec Antivirus software for free. Just visit the UNR IT website to download and install it. You will need your UNR NetID to download this software.
Hardware
Student discounts on hardware can also be obtained through the Computer Den in the ASUN Bookstore. The campus has agreements with Dell and Apple for special discounted pricing.
